Terry
Cox: plays
mandolin, sings lead
Terry
Cox plays mandolin, sings lead, and writes much of the band's material.
In his voice, you can find hints of his "close- (like about fifteen
feet) to-Kentucky" Indiana roots. In his writing and performing
style, you can hear bits of his varied background as a cave explorer, state
mental hospital worker, photographer, geologist, telephone operator, printer,
and carpenter. He currently spends his days cataloging and scanning maps
as well as creating custom databases. The only published author in the
band, Terry has written a history of gold mining in the Central
City area of Colorado, and two editions of price guide for antique railroad
stocks and bonds. You may see his web site at coxrail.com.
He lives with his wife Lynda in Golden, Colorado.
